Like a bizillion other people out there, I have been waiting to get an iPhone 3G. For the first 10 days, after the release date, I called every Apple and AT&T store in the Denver Metro area and everyone was out. The amazing thing was that not one person even knew when they would get any stock in. Would they get any in tommorrow, next week, next year? No one knows.

Anyway, since I was tired of calling around I decided to go ahead and put an order in at an AT&T store for one. It's been 9 days now since it has been ordered and the order status page keeps flipping between saying that it is back ordered and is not. So, I will continue to check out the AT&T website everyday until it says something different, instead of "in progress."

The amazing thing is that Apple Stores near here still don't have any in-stock. Looks like Apple totally under estimated the demand, or maybe this is ALL PART OF THEIR MARKETING STRATEGY.

Well, I guess we've been in the same place too long (2.5) years because it is time to move again. We sold our house in Highlands Ranch and now are moving to Arvada next week. We were torn between moving to Wash Park south of downtown Denver or moving to Arvada. Wash Park would have been a lot more swanky, but the houses are bigger and there is more open space for the kids to play in Arvada.

I launched my redesigned website, Sleck.com last night. This site is an online business directory that lets you search for businesses and organize them by postal code. Also, you are able to post your business for free to the site.

This is just the beginning of what is planned and once we get enough postings we will move on to the next phase.
